About Myself
Born and raised in north west London I worked as a teacher first in Scotland and then in Zambia, Africa. After returning to London I later trained at the Institute of Psychosynthesis and qualified as a counsellor in 1994.
For twenty years I worked as a counsellor trainer at Lambeth College and then later at Greenwich Community College in Woolwich. I taught counselling at skills and diploma level and later served as Programme Leader of the University of Greenwich Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling.
Throughout this time I maintained a private practice in counselling, working one-to-one as well as with couples and groups. I also offer group and individual clinical supervision.
I have offered courses and workshops over many years on personal and spiritual development working as a leader, facilitator and trainer.
I practice as an executive coach working for not-for-profit organisations both for individuals and for teams in the workplace.
I am now based in Sidcup, a few minutes from the Oval Blackfen.
I have been committed to authentic and open-hearted living, to ongoing spiritual practice and mutual care in relationships.
My wife and I live in Sidcup. I enjoy walking, swimming, relaxing, eating, travelling, languages, prayer and contemplation and relationships. I love fun and living with freedom.
All my work is based on the facilitation of self-awareness, self-acceptance and wholeness.
I seek to nurture the increase of wisdom, balance, tolerance, realism and creativity and to encourage the capacity to love both self and others.
